Based in San Antonio and formed of seasoned musicians, The Indigenauts' roots stretch from Mexico to northern Texas. Their wide-ranging sound encompasses styles like cumbia and mariachi, hip-hop and jazz, and even rock, mambo and country. This blend of genres mimics the groups 'mestizaje' (mixed) identity, as well as their ancestral origins; even the band's name reflects this awareness of their indigenous roots and a realization of their place within the cosmos.
